Led the sale of JTA, an Australian based health services International Development Assistance (IDA) firm to Abt Associates, an international health, education and IDA firm based in Boston (US$650m turnover) following a worldwide search. We then assisted Abt Associates in the firm’s UK market entry.
Led the sale of HK Logistics, a large international logistics International Development Assistance provider to The Palladium Group, (AUD$500m revenues) as part of Palladium’s repositioning as an international professional services firm covering strategic consulting, International Development Assistance (IDA), impact investment and logistics.
Managed for EnviroSolutions and Consulting the acquisition of Indonesia based GreenCap, a subsidiary of Wesfarmers. Assisted in the integration following the acquisition, including providing CFO services.
Facilitated the Australian launch of CDM Smith, an American engineering and professional services firm (US$1.2bn revenues), through two acquisitions following assessment of more than 20 potential acquisition targets.
Acquired E3 in Brisbane and Sydney and NTEC Environmental Technology in Perth setting CDM Smith up as an international engineering and environmental consulting firm in Australia, and leading the Asia Pacific region expansion for the head office in Boston.
Advised on the sale of Libra Group, an international consultancy based in the UK providing policy, advisory, and management services in the security and justice sector to Coffey International Development (AU$800m revenue at the time).
Raised capital from a UK private equity firm and Australian investors to back an international management consulting firm roll up with offices in London, New York, Sydney and Melbourne. Completed 3 acquisitions over 3 years and prepared and advised the company in their sale to FTI Consulting, Inc. a US based listed global business advisory firm.
Originated and advised on the acquisition of Global Justice Solutions (GJS) by WDScott Ltd. GJS was a global consulting and project management business specialising in development assistance to governments, major development agencies and other national-level clients in the areas of law, justice, policing and governance.
